Why people cheat on a lover is a question for which there may be many answers; answers which a psychologist is perhaps better trained to answer.  However, we can help you answer a couple of important questions:  Is your spouse or lover having an affair?  If so, who with?  Where?  When?

Because of our experience in this area, we have noticed some interesting statistics.  The gender of clients asking us to conduct infidelity investigations is nearly a 50/50 split between men and women.  This doesn’t mean that both sexes cheat equally; it just means there is a nearly even number of males and females who suspect their lover is cheating.  Another observation is that when a woman has a suspicion or a feeling that her mate is cheating, she is usually correct.  And our infidelity investigations clients are not just in Arizona; many of our clients live out-of-state and have a mate who is visiting Arizona.

When a client provides us with reliable information, within just  a couple of hours of beginning the surveillance, we often obtain video evidence of the cheating mate’s rendezvous with his or her lover.  Keep in mind, this is not a hard and fast rule; it is a testament to the quality of the information the client has provided us.

Phoenix Investigations’ detectives are discreet.  With cheating mate investigations, our goals are:

1.     Find out whether your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, or lover is cheating; and, if so

2.     Obtain evidence (video or photograph) of that fact; and

3.     Obtain as much information about the rendezvous or lover as we can; and

4.      Maintain surveillance; and

5.      Remain undetected.

 
If we obtain video or photographs, in most cases we can get the evidence to you usually within 48 hours; it doesn’t matter whether you live in Arizona or New Zealand, just as long as you have Internet access.  Phoenix Investigations uses an online case management system for our private detectives and clients.  We also use various online media storage services that allow our investigators to upload video or photos to a secure site.  After review by Phoenix Investigations, the client is provided a unique password to the site or the evidence is sent via e-mail.  When needed, we will use FedEx or USPS to get the evidence to the client.

SIGNS YOUR MATE MAY BE CHEATING*:

• Suddenly begins working late (although in today's economy, it may be necessary and the truth).
• Is participating in (more) activities without you.
• Acts secretive:  turns off computer monitor or changes screens on computer when you walk into the room; turns cell phone facedown or carries cell phone everywhere in the house (even into the bathroom); goes into another room or outside to talk on the telephone.
• Has secret e-mail addresses or even another (secret) cell phone; has a secret credit card (all of which you have found, which is how you know about them now).
• Appears to be going through a "mid-life crisis," evidenced by a new car, a change in hair style, an update of wardrobe, etc.
• Shows a noticeable change in attitude toward you, lack of interest in sex with you, etc.
• Either comes home smelling of someone else's scent (i.e., cologne, perfume, or sex) or insists on doing his/her own laundry.
• Has been making unusual withdrawals from bank account or obtains a separate account.
• Not where he/she says he/she is going to be (i.e., friend's house, gym, work, etc.).
• Noticeable changes in behavior.
• Lives on a street named after a hill in Cuba made famous by Theodore Roosevelt and the Rough Riders.  (Okay, this is an inside joke we had to include).

* Keep in mind that there may be legitimate reasons for any of these signs.
